What you will be doing:
Exciting casual opportunities are available to join NBMLHD's Medical Imaging team as an Administration Officer. In this role you will provide high level clerical and administration support to Imaging departments Nepean and Blue Mountains hospitals. Provide an efficient service for all patients and medical staff presenting to the outpatient and inpatient imaging service. Provide courteous and confidential customer service.
- Data entry – PBRC (workers Comp, MVA, MDT Meetings), Fax control, exception report
- Data input in the Radiology Information System (Centricity), update Dr’s details, fax reports to clinicians
- Typing reports, policy and procedures
- Administration and reception duties in all areas in Imaging
- Answering phones, booking and re-scheduling appointments

Selection Criteria to be Addressed:
- Demonstrated experienced in administrative / reception and booking duties including effective customer service skills
- Demonstrated excellent organisational and problem-solving techniques with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary multi-skilled team
- Experience in a frontline customer service role and the ability to effectively use problem solving and negotiation skills
- Possess a positive attitude and sound work ethic whilst adapting to changing work environments
