This will involve a diverse range of tasks.
The role:
Provide a high level of administrative and clerical support to the Nephrology Head of department (HOD) and the Nurse unit Manager (NUM). This will involve a diverse range of tasks.
Ensure an efficient flow of information to and from the Nephrology service.
Ensure the integrity of data collection and recording and reporting of relevant data by the Nephrology service.

Details of Appointment
Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 68.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $69,574 to $75,199 per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Salary range is in accordance with the Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award
Eligibility:
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- High level computer skills including experience developing and using excel spreadsheets, and experience in preparing reports using word or similar software
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
- Conviction checks in the following areas:
- crimes of violence
- sex related offences
- serious drug offences
- crimes involving dishonesty
- Identification check
