About the role
City Communications collaborates with internal staff and project teams to deliver high quality communication services to support the community in their daily lives.
Within this agile team you’ll work with the Print and Distribution coordinator to deliver print materials. Together you’ll run the on-demand digital print centre, work with stakeholders including designers to create printed materials and liaise with print suppliers to create other products like banners, decals and corflute signs.
You’ll work on a many different projects, some involving Sydney’s most popular events like New Year’s Eve and Lunar festival. You’ll create a variety of printed materials from posters, flyers banners, triffids, decals, corflute signage to coordinating letter drops for up to 25,000 mailboxes and so much more.
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- experience with digital printing using production devices, office multi-functional devices and offline finishing equipment using
- Konica Minolta and Fuji Xerox digital presses
- Fiery Command Workstation and GX print server RIPS
- sound project management skills and experience in managing projects to be delivered on time and on budget
- a can-do attitude and willingness to help and problem solve
- an ability to prioritise and plan your work to meet stakeholders needs
