Quality Assurance Assistant – ALDI

An exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant has become available within the QA team of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.


What does the role look like?

  • Working with the Supply Chain, Buying and QA teams, as well as suppliers and service providers to develop and communicate QA requirements
  • Support the implementation of food safety and quality requirements
  • Monitor and report on the performance of suppliers for compliance to ALDI requirements
  • Ensure the efficient flow of technical communication to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of product specifications, testing criteria and programs

What we need from you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology, Applied Science, Food Engineering, or equivalent is highly regarded
  • Relevant supply chain experience is also highly regarded
  • Willingness to learn Australian or industry regulations and food standards
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities
  • Skilled in writing documentation, such as standards, procedures, and templates
  • Passionate about food with an awareness of trends in the industry

This role reports to the Executive Manager - Quality Assurance.
