YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to and being an integral part of the Commercial Sales Team. ensuring efficient management of customers by improving, and developing existing customer relationships, monitoring sales performance and tracking sales support data to support the growth of the Personal Care Business Unit.
You will be an absolute team player and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Attention to detail and high organisation skills are key. You will be a strong communicator with a high attention to detail and enjoy problem solving. You will have proven Microsoft skills and the proven ability to use SAP.
- Maintain supplier documentation such as Product Data / Safety Data Sheets, Halal Certificates etc., ensuring they are always kept up to date
- Pricing – assist the Commercial Teams with recording pricing and quotations as well as undertaking general price maintenance
- Planning & Forecasting – assist the Commercial Teams in obtaining and entering forecasts and helping to improve forecast accuracy
- Manage stock levels against open orders and keep track of contracts from key suppliers
- Manage and maintain master data for new materials, customers, and vendors
- Sample management – request samples from Suppliers, maintain sample registry and manage delivery of product focused samples as requested
- Coordinate customer communications on all information relevant to them including quotations, logging, and communicating all product information changes, marketing activities, new product launches, sit audit requirements and manufacturing and warehouse notifications
- Manage completion of customer questionnaires, checking with Suppliers on information needed to complete
- Assist the Commercial Teams in logging customer complaints when required
- Provide support on import permit/product registrations
- Provide support and promote to customers the Company online platform
- Support the coordination of marketing presentations for customers and industry events in conjunction with the Commercial Teams
- Qualification in an industry related discipline – (science/chemistry) desirable but not essential
- Marketing or Commerce degree would also be valued
- Prior experience in sales and/or customer experience roles
- Experience in distribution, chemical or other similar industry desirable but not essential
- Working experience with SAP or similar ERP system and CRM preferred but not essential
- An agile, highly collaborative, and early adopter mindset
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- Digitally savvy, self-motivated, ability to prioritise and take initiative, strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and plan and prioritise in an effective manner to achieve goals for sustainable results
- Excellent IT Skills and practical knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
