The Library is seeking to fill the role of Business Analyst, Strategy and Transformation (APS 6) in the Strategy and Transformation Section of the Collection Branch. This is a key role in providing strategic advice and specialist knowledge for the delivery of the functions that acquire, describe, manage, provide access to and care for Australia’s National Collection.
This role is required to undertake work that is complex in nature, under limited direction. You will oversee the business analysis function within the Strategy and Transformation section. This includes:
- Undertaking business analysis and modelling, stakeholder engagement, and cost and benefits realisation activities for initiatives.
- Project and program management.
- Applying industry/organisation standard techniques.
- Analysis input into strategic reporting.
- Identifying systems, policy and technology trends.
- Strategic budgeting.
- Negotiating to resolve complex or difficult issues and requirements with internal stakeholders, system/equipment vendors or users.
You will provide specialist business analysis skills and knowledge to support Branch work and the management of the intersection of its outputs with other Library programs and projects.
It is desirable if you experience in the field of business analysis. It is also desirable if you hold qualifications in Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Business, Project Management or equivalent experience.
