Due to the successful awarding of Sydney bus contracts in Sydney’s West and South West areas an exciting opportunity has been created for new trainee and experienced drivers to join Transit Systems.

The new trainees and experienced drivers will be initially operating out of our region 6 contracted area being Leichhardt , Burwood ,Tempe & Kingsgrove depots to assist in the current vacancies at these depots.

You may be eligible for a sign BONUS and travel incentives depending on your chosen depot to assist you in your commute to our Region 6 depot sites. Out of pocket expenses associated to employment documents will be reimbursed to successful applicants.

The great news is, should you wish, you will be guaranteed to be employed to the new operating depot areas being Hoxton Park, Bankstown, South Granville, and Smeaton Grange Depots after a period of 12 months.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be providing our passengers a safe, efficient and smooth bus services and excellent customer service. Our shifts have various start and finish times to ensure our services continue to run efficiently. On Monday to Saturday’s and Sunday as optional overtime.

ABOUT YOU

• Be a permanent resident of Australia or citizen of Australia or New Zealand
• Have held an unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence for at least 12 months within the last 24 months
• Have a good driving record minimum 9 points
• Have excellent verbal and written skills
• Be willing to work all the shifts required of the position
• Maintain a weight below 130kgs
• Have a current Working with Children Check clearance
• Be willing to complete a medical
