An exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant has become available within the QA team of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
What does the role look like?
- Working with the Supply Chain, Buying and QA teams, as well as suppliers and service providers to develop and communicate QA requirements
- Support the implementation of food safety and quality requirements
- Monitor and report on the performance of suppliers for compliance to ALDI requirements
- Ensure the efficient flow of technical communication to both internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in the development and maintenance of product specifications, testing criteria and programs

What we need from you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology, Applied Science, Food Engineering, or equivalent is highly regarded
- Relevant supply chain experience is also highly regarded
- Willingness to learn Australian or industry regulations and food standards
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities
- Skilled in writing documentation, such as standards, procedures, and templates
- Passionate about food with an awareness of trends in the industry
This role reports to the Executive Manager - Quality Assurance.
